Dear Hazel Strauch Families, 

  

I hope you are relaxing, recharging, and getting ready for the start of a new school year!  The first day of school is Thursday, August 18 and we will continue to provide in-person instruction 5 days a week.  Remember, we have a new school start time of 7:45am (breakfast is in the cafeteria from 7am-7:30am).  As we continue to work through challenges including the pandemic, I am eager and excited for what promises to be an amazing 2022/23 school year.  

  

My goal is to ensure that all children are healthy, happy and safe so they learn as much as they can and reach new levels of achievement.  With two California Distinguished School Awards in 2016 and 2020, Hazel Strauch looks to continue its tradition of excellence.  Our hard-working, dedicated staff can't wait to start  collaborating with you to ensure students meet their academic goals and have a positive learning experience.  

 

We understand that to help students reach their potential, they need guidance and support from both school and home. As part of our work together, we want to be able to communicate with you quickly and easily - so please make sure you go to the AERIES Parent Portal (https://parent.twinriversusd.org/LoginParent.aspx) to login or create an account.  Once the student and contact information are updated or confirmed,  you will receive important messages from the teacher, school, and district.
