Principal’s Message

Hello Strauch Families,

Welcome back to the 2018-2019 school year.  Thank you to all who attended our Back to School Night to help get the year off to a great start.  Our staff has been working hard and is committed to providing a high quality instructional program for each and every one of our students.

Some things to think about as the year begins.  It is  important to have your child here every day and on time.  Every minute that they miss in their learning is detrimental to their progress in school.  Please do your best to schedule appointments after school hours.  Attendance is critical to your child’s success in school.

Traffic is always a concern too.  Mrs. Chandler and Mr. Rushton have been supervising our parking lots before and after school and helping parents understand the rules of dismissal and picking up.  While most parents are following the rules, we still have some that are double parking and being impatient.  I urge all of you to keep the priority of “Kids Safety First” and be patient while you are in the school zone.  Picking up your child and dropping them off is not always going to be quick.  Be Patient, Be Polite, and Be Safe.

We are looking forward to another successful school year and many great times ahead.  I look forward to seeing everyone at our parent meetings throughout the year.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Rodriguez, Principal
